Tan Tock Seng Hospital Tech Needs Grant Call Briefing :

Members of IoT Open Innovation Community meet up with a Lead Demand

What better way to hear and understand about the needs of a lead demand than first-hand through an informal interactive session? Observing that several members of its IoT Open Innovation Community had further queries in relation to the grant call by Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Centre of Innovation for Electronics (COIE) took to organise an interaction session between TTSH and the interested SMEs and tech partners.

On 10 November 2014, a sharing-cum-networking session on TTSH Tech Needs Grant Call was held at NYP, attended by some 20 SME representatives. The team from TTSH Clinical Innovation expanded on and conducted Q&A on the needs scope of the grant call. They subsequently met up with interested SMEs one-on-one to hear their intended proposals and provide broad inputs to better address the needs spelt out in the grant call and sharpen their ideas. SPRING Singapore officers were also present at the meetings to lend their support.

The SME partners found the session beneficial and appreciated such opportunities for them to interact and explore potential collaboration directly with a lead demand organisation.
